Lens Creator Rewards is how AR creators get rewarded for the Lenses they build on Snapchat. Using Lens Studio (free, on Desktop, Mobile, or Web), creators can reach over 350 million people using Lenses every day. There are two ways to get paid, and each Lens enrolls in only one: Top Performer Payouts, open to all eligible Creators, where a Lens becomes eligible once it hits 15,000 Qualified Posters in its first 90 days; and Lens+ Payouts, for approved Creators who apply, rewarding Exclusive Lenses based on engagement from Lens+ and Snapchat Platinum subscribers. It's best for AR designers who can build Lenses with mass appeal and repeat use — simple filters, static images, and copycat Lenses don't qualify.

For Top Performer Payouts the bar is concrete — a Lens must reach 15,000 Qualified Posters within its first 90 days — so build for shareability and repeat use, not just visual polish. Simple color filters, basic beautification, static 2D images, plain frames, and copycat Lenses are explicitly excluded. If you want the Lens+ path (subscriber engagement), you have to apply separately for approved Creator status.
